The collaboration between Unica, the Unipol Group’s Corporate Academy, and Industree Communication Hub has promoted an initiative dedicated to young people (18-25 years old), future parents (25-35 years old), educators and teachers with the intent to raise awareness among the younger generations on the importance of committing to build a more inclusive and united society in the fight against discrimination.
A whole formation day was dedicated to the initiative "INKLUSION - The differences that paint the world" where, in 5 hours of live streaming, more than 300 people connected from all over Italy had the opportunity not only to listen to the 13 experts involved on the discrimination phenomenon but also to get involved through the participation in numerous interactive activities.
Industree Communication Hub followed the organization of the event since the early stages of identity and design of all communication activities to support the initiative.
The agency has also participated, together with Unica, in defining the contents of the event focusing on the selection, the involvement of the speakers, the creation of graphic and video materials for the different activities and also the coordination of all the pre-event phases and all the live speech sessions.
The path of awareness and experience on the theme of inclusion sponsored by Unica and supported by Industree Communication Hub started with the Identiquiz, an interaction game useful to make participants think about the reasons why - often unconsciously - they manifest prejudice against other people.
The moment of highest vertical confrontation between experts and registered users took place during the 4 Webilabs with closed numbers related to specific topics such as the civil rights movement for racial discrimination in the United States, prejudice and intolerance arising from a different sexual orientation, in-depth analysis of new technologies to support people with disabilities and the influence of language on our cognitive processes.
In parallel, an open-ended Webinar provided moments of great reflection on the current phenomenon of digital violence expressed through the use of the Internet and social platforms.
The event concluded with Sliding Doors - an activity designed to concretely apply in everyday life the information discussed during the day - and a virtual round table where speakers and some Unipol executives were available to answer all questions from the audience about the project.
More than 300 people were remotely connected from all over Italy - including entire school classes both in presence and in distance learning – and through a dedicated and ad hoc designed streaming platform they were able to follow in live streaming the entire day of the event.
The day was characterized by a busy agenda, which saw several activities taking place in parallel. For this reason, it was necessary to provide both the setting up of a main studio with a direction in presence for the management of the plenary activities led by the host of the event, and the creation of 4 virtual and parallel rooms, coordinated by as many remote directors, to host the different activities dedicated
The Industree Communication Hub team handled the development of the dedicated website and the streaming platform through which users were able to participate in the different moments of the day.
